Position Summary
Provide exceptional customer service at front desk by politely answering calls/questions from walk-ins. Maintain confidentiality of all information received in the office. Learn to use the Ellucian computer system, myWAU, and WebAdvisor. Work collaboratively with Student Financial Services team members. Assist in filing. Assist with providing basic understanding of student(s) account. Assist with mailings. Other assignments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled full time at Washington Adventist University.
  • Must be able to work 20 hours per week while school is in session (during business hours, not evening work). Must be able to work at least 30-40 hours per week during the summer as well.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have good telephone skills.
  • Sound analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient use of Excel.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be eligible for Work Study.
