Summary
Answer and forward incoming calls
Coordinate and present job orientation/training for new Desk Workers
Ensure and monitor desk area and lobby are clean daily
General clerical duties.
Insure Desk Workers are aware of job responsibilities
Insure Desk Workers are informed of current residence hall notices, announcements, and revised policies/procedures
Maintain current contact list for all Desk Workers
Monitor front desk forms and supplies (sign-in/sign out sheets, log sheets, pens, etc.)
Notify Dean on Duty of any student personnel issues
Serve as Sub-Desk Worker as needed
Supervisory Duties
Coordinate and post Desk Workers schedule for each semester and during break periods
Monitor all Desk Worker job performance and report for evaluation at mid-term each semester to residence hall Dean
Update monthly/semester worker schedules as needed

Ability to multi task
Committed to provide exceptional customer service to customers and coworkers
Demonstrate high level of student professionalism
Demonstrated capability of updating worker calendars and schedules
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent WAU citizenship record
Exhibit precise attention to detail
In-depth knowledge of the campus directory and campus map
Knowledge of WAU policies and procedures
Possess effective team leadership skills
Possess high level of organizational skills;
Well versed in managing multiple line phone system and handling multiple incoming calls
