Summary: Career Counseling and/or Counseling 
Washington Adventist University is seeking candidates for adjunct faculty in the Department of  Psychology & Counseling). Applications will be reviewed periodically based on student enrollment needs. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are not automatically accepted to teach at Washington Adventist University.  Decisions to hire applicants are made at the discretion of the department.

  • Student rapport
  • Evening hour program availability
  • Responds quickly to emails from students and administrators 
 Minimum Qualifications:
  • MA degree in Counseling
  • College Teaching experience
  • Excellence in teaching
  • Classroom management skills
  • Assessment of graduate students
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and dealing with the adult learner
  • Enthusiasm for the counseling profession
  • Personal ethical and spiritual foundation
