PRIMARY DUTIES
Welcome department visitors by providing University related materials.
Performs data entry for all incoming admission related documents (transcripts, ACT scores, address changes, name corrections, etc.)
Prepares mailings and letters to prospective students inquiring about the University.
Responds to prospective students' inquiries enrollment inquiries via e-mail.
Assists Admission staff in document management and inventory.
Assist with troubleshooting incoming students’ residency issues
Assist with training and development of current and new Admissions student professionals.
Serves as a complete support for the Admissions Recruiters in fulfilling their quotas.
Front Desk support: answers phones; can answer basic admissions questions;
Manages the Campus Tours Office & is responsible for providing all campus tours to prospect and their families. Looks for ongoing ways to improve the Campus Tour experience.
Transcripts/admissions paperwork, as needed.
Keep the admissions team updated on key information or changes around campus.
Manage Student Workers, if applicable.
Create Admissions FAQs
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Broad base knowledge of the Washington Adventist University required.
Minimum of one year of office experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask.
Detailed orientated.
Ability to work well with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
