Job Title: Vice President for Marketing & Enrollment Services

Directs and plans all marketing and enrollment activities of college by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plans and implements comprehensive marketing strategies for the college and its various entities, including addressing all major markets and coordinating the development of the appropriate marketing tools and services required to achieve marketing goals; assists the President in establishing a cohesive marketing message in all marketing venues.
Plans and implements comprehensive enrollment strategies for the college, working with the directors of student recruiting and financial aid, including both broad strategies and specific and obtainable goals that are consistent with the college’s strategic objectives.
Organizes and implements advertising and promotional activities aimed at all primary target markets, coordinating activities of various other marketing leaders on campus, including the graphic designer/publications coordinator, the director of marketing for the adult evening program and the director of the MBA program—and coordinates all this with the Director of Public Relations.
Achieves financial objectives by coordinating the development of budgets in each of the areas under the accountability, working with directors or coordinators in marketing, student recruiting and financial aid and then handling variances from those budgets through effective corrective actions.
Maintains staffing in all departments by coordinating interviewing, hiring and training employees—and assuring that work in those departments is directed, appraised, rewarded and disciplined; and assures that appropriate complaint and problem-solving efforts are handled according to appropriate handbook policies and procedures.
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image in all marketing and recruiting programs and campaigns for all campus entities; works closely with the Director of Public Relations to coordinate image management.
Supports a spirit of excellence in service.
Attends mandatory Convocation every Wednesday.
Reports directly to the President.
Direct supervision of three directors, in Marketing, Student Recruiting and Financial Aid. Also provides indirect supervision to staff and student workers in each of those departments.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Must possess personal attributes that are in harmony with the philosophy and objectives of this organization. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels and ages of employees and the public, provide leadership qualities and foster appropriate customer relations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience:
Master's degree in related field; or
Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be a baptized member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, in good
Superior command of English grammar and spelling.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to solve problems.
Mathematical and Technology Skills:
Ability to analyze financial statements.
Ability to analyze personnel reports.
Working knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
