Share knowledge of Washington Adventist University (WAU) and its School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) programs and offerings in various environments with the goal of recruiting new students.
Serve as the primary recruiter for SGPS.
Represent Washington Adventist University at educational fairs, job fairs, business and industry events, and other events.
Collaboratively develop effective presentations and activities to convey what Washington Adventist University’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies can offer, including career paths and the benefits of attending.
Conduct classroom presentations for prospective SGPS students currently enrolled at WAU.
Review the WAU Bulletin annually to become familiar with changes affecting prospective and current student enrollments.
Maintain knowledge of financial aid opportunities for prospective and current students.
Maintain a general knowledge of other college and university policies and procedures including academic support and student activities.
Engage in training and continuously monitor enrollment processes at WAU.
Recruit and advise assigned prospective students utilizing the CRM software through personal appointments, telephone conversations, and/or written correspondence (including but not limited to e-mail).
Assist students with scheduling initial courses.
Maintain a positive attitude that contributes to a professional, team-centered environment.
Use technology effectively for word processing, record-keeping, instructional applications, electronic communication, information, and data management.
Ability to work outside of assigned hours, including evenings and/or weekends, on an “as scheduled/needed” basis for Recruitment events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; a minimum of 3 years work experience in sales, marketing, recruiting, or related activities is preferred.
Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to be insurable is required.
Documented experience in the use of current educational technologies in the classroom including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is required.
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate the following through their experiences and accomplishments:

Experience in the use of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System or related sales software.
Knowledge of current education and employment trends.
