The Office of the Registrar seeks a qualified individual to perform basic registration functions, answer phone calls, greet visitors to the Office of the Registrar, and provide minor administration and clerical support to the Registrar. 
  • Perform basic registration functions and refers more complex issues to the appropriate staff member.
  • Serve as initial point of contact for visitors to the Office of the Registrar. 
  • Answer phone calls and routes them to the appropriate staff member as needed.
  • Order and maintain supplies.
  • Process time cards for student professionals. 
  • Open and route incoming mail.
  • Organize and maintain filing system.
  • Coordinate all office staff’s schedules and make appointments using Google calendar.
  • Maintain student confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Takes minutes during office staff meetings.
  • Maintain reception area by keeping a neat and professional appearance.
  • Supports and spirit of excellence through service.
  • Attends convocation and General Assembly.
  • Performs related and other departmental duties as required. 
  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution. 
  • Two years of full-time experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations. 
  • Possess exceptional writing and oral communication skills. 
  • Exceptional analytically and organizational abilities, and demonstrated initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to learn new database software. 
This position is not eligible for the University's benefit package.
