Overview of WGTS 91.9/CUCB Inc.
WGTS 91.9 is a listener-supported noncommercial radio station that is a federally recognized 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, and is a self-supporting subsidiary of Washington Adventist University. At WGTS 91.9, we believe we are here to encourage everyone we encounter to take one step closer to Christ.
Position Summary
Responsible for greeting donors, collecting confidential information, taking donations over the phone through secure donation page, and providing encouragement as needed.  Represents the ministry to the community that calls in.  

  • Greet customers warmly and gladly converse with caller
  • Professional and efficient in verbal delivery
  • Is able to handle stressful situations with ease
  • Answer donor’s questions or transfer to Donations Team member as appropriate
  • Take a new gift securely online through WGTS’ giving page
  • Attend training session one week prior to Fundraiser
  • Keep all information confidential
  • Other duties as assigned
Supervision Received:
  • Reports directly to the Community Engagement Director

Language Skills:
  • Superior command of English grammar and spelling. 
  • Advanced verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills
Technology Skills:
  • Minimum knowledge and application of Excel.
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Has worked a minimum of two Fundraiser events on the phones
  • Exhibits superior leadership skills and ability to work effectively and constructively with a variety of people.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be able to remain calm and in control during stressful situations.
  • An impeccable attention to detail and reliability.
