Position Summary: Communications Assistant: The Communications Assistant keeps the website and social media platforms of REACH  current with pictures, videos, and articles.

PRIMARY DUTIES (but not limited to):
                       
  • Updates all social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram) with pictures and videos of professor visits, special events, field trips, etc. while creating catchy content in order to communicate to the public and our followers about what the student experience is like here at REACH CU throughout the year. Updates should be made before, during and/or after events. Bi-weekly updates are recommended.
  • Interviews participants at key events and documents their experience through short written articles and/or videos for website publication or other media outlets.
  • Works with Office Assistant to implement marketing mailings to churches, academies, and universities.
  • Updates website with upcoming events and other important information
 
 
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Must be a current WAU student and a REACH student
  • An active relationship with Jesus as a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and committed to its values and standards
  • Self-starting and hard working • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Fluent in social media platforms • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office • Able to use Squarespace
